Summary

Canadian lawmaker Charlie Angus criticized Donald Trump’s recent tariff threats and attacks on Canada, calling his behavior “juvenile” and “idiotic.”

Trump has proposed a 25% tariff on Canadian and Mexican goods, blaming both countries for issues like migration and fentanyl.

Ontario officials warned of potential retaliation, such as barring U.S. alcohol purchases or restricting electricity exports.

Trump’s remarks, including mocking Prime Minister Trudeau as “governor” of Canada, have escalated tensions ahead of trade negotiations.

Yeah, no shit. At least someone is stating the obvious rather than being too afraid of the dipshit to say anything to begin with.

Trump thinks that the U.S. buying more from Canada is a “subsidy”. In reality it means that they need us more than we need them(a lot of what they buy is our oil). This will hurt the States more AND I have to hope that their conservative policy will also fuck up our oil sales leading to Alberta finally having to realize that it needs a personality beyond just destroying its environment and being terrible to minorities. One can only dream.

When the voters decided that a functioning brain was no longer a requirement to be president, I feel like this kind of stuff was inevitable.

People who voted against Trump: “We know.”

People who voted for Trump: “Hell yeah, we know!”

I'm holding out hope that he soon meets his fate in the form of one especially significant hamberder.

Covid would have taken him if it wasn't for that pesky, dreadful public healthcare he received when he was President.

I'm still hoping for him to experience a stroke severe enough to keep him able to experience input but drooling and unable to move or talk.

I wouldn't wish this to anybody, but I'm willing to make an exception for him.
