He'll likely be convicted, and he'll likely spend most, if not all of the rest of his life in prison. It's an incredible sacrifice he's made. That takes immense bravery. I only wish more people were that brave.

Hey if enough Americans are motivated he may not have to serve the full sentence. If this were the start of something bigger he could easily get out sooner.

If everyone goes back to complacency though you're definitely right.

Trigger happy mods should know that I'm advocating for political and cultural change but not specifying that it must be through violence.

I feel like he'll actually be well received by other inmates if it comes to that, at least

The police just made a martyr of this man. Hope it brings a shred of change to the corruption in the world

Regardless of the outcome of this case, the point has been made.

Wanna kill someone and be popular at the same time, kill the rich.

I hope it becomes a trendy thing for depressed teenagers instead of shooting up schools

Fewer bullets makes it more cost-effective

It would be quite something if the jury refused to convict.

[–] AdolfSchmitler 11 points 1 day ago

They will do everything they can to make sure this doesn't go to trial for that reason

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 day ago

Yea but then the rich can sent actual thugs, this time without badges, and kill him.

Or just pay some random person to kill with and make it look like a car accident.

And get rid of the evidence you idiot

[–] [email protected] 27 points 1 day ago (2 children)

You have to assume he wanted this, otherwise any dumb dumb know to ditch the evidence.

Perhaps he wants his day in court and this was the plan all along.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I don't think he wanted to get caught. I think he had another hit planned. The few quotes they released from his manifesto are plural, "these parasites", etc.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I don’t understand why you would be going into McD then. You’d want to keep a low profile if the plan was more hits.

Seems he came from money and vanished from friends a few months ago. In that time I would have been buying cheap cars for cash, more fake ids and different guns.

I know this is all speculation and we will learn more in time, but this reads like someone with a grudge against UHG and him having done what he wanted.

Man's gotta eat. Maybe he got cocky.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

Never say never, but this doesn’t seem like a non intelligent person and I think any of know that going to public places when you’re the most wanted person is the country is a little silly.

It’s one thing to think nobody will actually recognise you, it’s another to do this whilst carrying all the incriminating evidence.

I will say it’s been an interesting year for crazy stories. First Israel is using supply chain attacks to blow up pagers and now this guy going full Adjuster in NYC.

I mean the consensus is the vast majority supported his actions.

In the stories we celebrate the hero that rocks up and offs the evil wizard draining the essence of orphans, the sick, and grandma…

[–] feedum_sneedson 53 points 2 days ago (1 children)

He's the hero I wish I was.
