Truly deranged that the president himself releases a statement defending Bibi. He truly has been made his bitch. That come to Jesus talk he said he had with him really amounted to a lot

[–] [email protected] 22 points 5 days ago (1 children)

After that talk Biden came to Yahweh.

That's borderline anti-semitic. Zionism is a genocidal political ideology that has nothing to do with Yahweh.

I don't think that's what NoneOfUrBusiness what getting at, they're consistently pro-palestinian and I've never seen them conflate Zionism with Judaism.

You are certainly correct that Zionism is completely separate from Judaism. Conflation of the two directly leads to a rise a genuine antisemitism. While Israel and Zionists claim so, Israel's actions in no way represents Jewish people. The conflation only assists antisemites that aim to paint the genocidal and supremacist actions of Israel onto all Jewish people, feeding insane conspiracy theories that incite antisemitic violence.

Fuck god, yaweh, whatever the fuck they call their imaginary friend that justifies their bigotry and sins. If it's antisemitic to hate a shitty god and his followers, then paint me accordingly.

Quite a stretch you’re making there.

"whatever the ICC might imply, there is no equivalence — none — between Israel and Hamas."

Well that's true... Israel has killed way more innocent people than Hamas ever has...

[–] BlitzoTheOisSilent 6 points 4 days ago

But Hamas settled in Israeli land, robbing it from Israeli families who held it for generations!

Wait, that was Israel settling Palestinian land...

But Hamas has spent decades walling off Israeli neighborhoods, essentially creating ghettos where residents may be restricted from leaving their own homes and are essentially isolated from the world and their communities!

Wait, that was Israel again...

But Hamas has been treating Israeli's as second class citizens, throwing their garbage onto their heads from the streets above, and forcing them to live under military-law with no protections since Israelis aren't citizens of Hamas!

Wait... That was Israel, again...

But Hamas killed over 43,000 Israelis over the course of the last year in response to Israel killing 1200 of their citizens and taking several hundred more hostage!

Fuck, that was Israel too... Shit.

Imagine actually uttering those words after even Wikipedia decided it was a genocide.

[–] LovingHippieCat 38 points 5 days ago (3 children)

That's a super short statement. I'm surprised he even commented on it considering we aren't apart of the ICC. Regardless, Israel is waging a genocide and they needed to be stopped and the current administration needs to be replaced desperately.

"BuT dO YOu COnDeMn HaMAs?" Hamas is shit, they need to be removed from power and a opposition party needs to replace them.

Fuck Israel's government and Fuck Hamas.

Biden has a hard om for Israel, that is why he made a statement.

[–] lunarul 5 points 5 days ago (1 children)

we aren't apart of the ICC

I don't think that means what you think it means

[–] LovingHippieCat 18 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago) (1 children)

Nah, it does. The ICC was created by the Rome Statute, and while we helped negotiate it, in order to join it and recognize it's jurisdiction we would have to ratify the treaty. We did initially sign it but didn't ratify it. Then, in 2002, under Bush, we withdrew our signature and said it wouldn't be ratified. We did this because we committed war crimes during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and we didn't want Americans to be tried for said war crimes.

It has 124 state members, and we aren't one of them. Some other countries that aren't members are Indonesia, India, China, and Israel (of course). So it's not everyone but us that are a part of it, but yeah. We aren't a part of the ICC even if we are a part of the world.

While we've been an "observer" before, we don't recognize it having jurisdiction over any non-member country.

Edit: unless you mean my usage of apart instead of a part. If so, then this is awkward. I'm always bad at that.

[–] lunarul 3 points 5 days ago (1 children)

I did mean the "apart", witch makes it mean the opposite.

[–] LovingHippieCat 3 points 5 days ago

Welp. Yeah, I'm bad at getting those right. Plus, my phone has started correcting it to the wrong one. Regardless, thanks for pointing it out! I'm gonna leave it just because you've pointed it out, and we've had this comment chain, though.

Libs both-siding a genocide. smh.

He is really showing his true colours here.

Couldn’t give a fuck what this failure has to say.

[–] givesomefucks 27 points 5 days ago

The ICC issuance of arrest warrants against Israeli leaders is outrageous. Let me be clear once again: whatever the ICC might imply, there is no equivalence — none — between Israel and Hamas. We will always stand with Israel against threats to its security.

The worst part about people like Biden, is despite all evidence they'll never understand others think differently.

Even after the last year, Biden really thinks this is true, and that the majority of people forced to vote for him four years ago agree.

Joe Biden, like all neoliberals who squeak thru, only became president in spite of himself by Republicans being legitimately insane.

[–] [email protected] 19 points 5 days ago

Is anyone really surprised Biden has been a cunt for like 40 or 50 years.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 5 days ago (1 children)

I got one thing to say here: lol.

[–] just_another_person 11 points 5 days ago

That's going to be an unpopular take. Especially considering the circumstances of the election.
