Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Glad that the average republican voter really was into Pizzagate. They must be outraged I tell you! Outraged!

I remember telling friends that it was so wild because, like... I absolutely believe in pedophiles in positions of high power and others using that as blackmail to get what they want... but when it veers into "Satanic Cult Conspiracy" that is firmly where you lost me.

But it's clear they either don't understand or never actually cared about such issues.

i mean, at this point it's not even remotely far fetched to assume they'll just go ahead and make rape 100% legal

Project 2025 seeks to legalize marital rape for sure.

[–] davidagain 5 points 1 month ago

Don't be surprised if they reduce the legal age for marriage too.

Their leader is a convicted felon, that likes to grab 'em by you know ... It's not a far fetch

They see women as property, so that tracks.

[–] hedgehogging_the_bed 6 points 1 month ago

One of them was just found to have published comments in their college newspaper insisting that rape was only a crime if the woman was actively resisting. This is a dangerous move away from the current legal consent standard. They will re-define rape out of existence.

it's interesting because as he adds cabinet picks, they come with allegations, as well as allegations stacking against those already selected. must be a requirement for the job, typically i would think this would make security clearance all but impossible due to the blackmail but maybe that is what he liked about these picks. that or trump just sees those like him and gravitates towards that, since his drug and dementia addled brain can't handle anything else.

He wants to work with people that he has something in common with. These are people who get him. People who have been publicly criticised for their awful behaviour. These are his people.

I read that headline as "Trump's pricks"

He surrounds himself with dumb fuckers like him.

Normalizing sexual misconduct? America has changed, I guess.

  • president elect

  • top picks

  • government leaders

  • sexual assault

  • child sex trafficking

The juxtaposition of these positions to the actions is mind blowing

It's not only corruption, which is already bad in itself, no, it's the folks that "fucks anything that moves"
