Because he's deaf and can't read. He got a hurricane briefing once and tried to correct the drawing with his personal hopes and dreams. That was the last time they gave him a hurricane brief.

People who support this dude are weird for not seeing he's not fit for office. He should step down and let someone younger go, like Biden did. He has way too much ego to admit he lost an election, nevermind stepping down, but it would be the play

[–] [email protected] 51 points 1 month ago (3 children)

Him being unfit for office has little to do with his age, to be clear.

[–] [email protected] 18 points 1 month ago (7 children)

Doesn't it? Nobody is 100% at 80 years old. Also they won't have to live with their decisions.

[–] [email protected] 38 points 1 month ago

Dude's been unfit for office for decades.

Donald, 100%, what would that even look like? Sexually assault twice as many women? Bankrupt twice as many company's?

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Twice as many blank reams of paper in his healthcare plan.

Yeah but like, on the list of things that should disqualify him his age is somewhere in the 200s.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 month ago

Sure, but he was unfit way before

That's exactly why they like him, he's not an "insider"

[–] Clinicallydepressedpoochie 13 points 1 month ago (4 children)

He's been in politics to long for him to make that claim anymore.

[–] PapaStevesy 5 points 1 month ago

Logic is not the best approach to changing these people's minds unfortunately.

Pepridge Farm remembers this. He used a Sharpie, and wanted to detonate a nuclear bomb on American soil.

You'd think he'd remember given he blocked aid to Puerto Rico after Maria – a Category 5 hurricane.

[–] [email protected] 68 points 1 month ago

He just remembers throwing paper towels at the people from that country of Puerto Rico

[–] [email protected] 17 points 1 month ago

Well perhaps the president of Puerto Rico ought to have done something about that.

He also flew to the Panama City Beach area after Hurricane Michael in 2018 (Category 5, I was working there at the time) and Trump only wanted to hang out with the GOP Mayor charged with felonies charges for misuse and stealing hurricane relief funds. (Lynn Haven). She just finished court cases... 1 month prison

What? How can you forget after the whole sharpie thing? That was kind of hilarious. Just draw an arrow on map and redirect Milton towards some immigrants or something buddy. Your succubus hag seems to think weather control is possible and you think highly of your own abilities - give it a try!

[–] BeMoreCareful 19 points 1 month ago

He wasn't aiming the hurricane, he was trying to make himself retroactively correct because he didn't know the states names.

[–] HRDS_654 17 points 1 month ago (1 children)

The best part about the "they control the weather" theory is that they are posting an old military patent on social media. What's funny about it is that, American patent law being what it is, even if it was real it would prove nothing. I could file a patent for a working dragon; that doesn't mean I have access to a fucking dragon. It just means I have ownership of any dragons that work like the patent I submitted. A patent is only to show ownership of an idea and nothing more.

Idk, maybe we're sleeping on him just being stupid.

[–] NikkiDimes 16 points 1 month ago

Lil bit of both I imagine. Probably a lotta bit of both.

[–] Anticorp 7 points 1 month ago

We've always known he's stupid, but he probably has dementia too.

But he has heard of nuking hurricanes.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 1 month ago (2 children)

I mean it makes sense. We need to teach a lesson to those hurricanes.

[–] edgemaster72 10 points 1 month ago (2 children)

We don't want to look weak in front of the other weather emergencies.

We have some perfect nukes just sitting around that cost hundreds, maybe thousands of dollars. It would be a waste not to use them.

His simple framework of "if it's a bad thing, it's 10x worse now vs the past so you need me in charge" that he has used forever (including 'American Carnage" in his acceptance speech) really fails when it comes to weather.

First, no normal human is blaming the Biden admin for the strength of hurricanes these days.

Second, if hurricanes are getting worse that implies climate change is real and we need a Democrat in charge to try to stop it.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 1 month ago

It's a goddamn tragedy that a plan that stupid actually works on so many people.

People who support Trump post things Trump said. People who support Harris post things Trump said.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 1 month ago (1 children)

You're not wrong, but that's no reason to stop calling trunk on his shit.

[–] JimVanDeventer 8 points 1 month ago

Of course, it just reminded me a little of the "a vote for Bart is a vote for anarchy" gag.

I knew he said it before... but 5 times?! lmao he is truly a sad ridiculous man

[–] JustZ 18 points 1 month ago

the vacuum between his ears is almost as strong as the field of a black hole

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 month ago

On the inside of his head his speeches are concise and coherent. Unfortunately they get spaghettified as they travel across the interdimensional gap between Trump Land™ and the rest of the universe.
