Blinken is there and doing this because Joe Biden put him in that position explicitly to do this.
He's just as liable as Blinken

It's not like Biden ordered Blinken to lie to Congress...
Blinken is in a cabinet position, so that means he was confirmed by the U. S. Senate - he wouldn't be in that position without those votes. Are those Senators just as liable too? I imagine some of them were those who got lied in the face to, to boot.
Biden appointed and trusted the wrong person, sure. He absolutely needs to take responsibility and ask Blinken for his resignation. But equally liable is a bridge too far.
He should fucking resign 100% although I have no idea who would replace him in the last 4 months of the administration especially since the secretary of state is a senate approved position.
He won’t because Joe Biden is complicit & it’s disgustingly obvious. This, “Whaddya gonna do it’s an election year,” charade is ghoulish.

Trump is facing calls to disappear up his own ass but that doesn't mean it'll ever happen.
The adults in the room are talking about someone who is currently using their position in the government to abed a genocide they knew about. What the fuck does any of that have to do with Trump?
Because under a tRump presidency he would have lied 100x more and moved the White House to Gaza after helping to bulldoze the people.
