He skates on the surface, focused exclusively on finding things that appear to serve his immediate interests, which are limited to greed, lust and the incessant demands of his insatiable ego.

I'd like to see Mar-a-Lago turn into Mar-solo-Mar.
I've driven by Mar-a-Lago, and they key it sits on is almost like a cliff. He's also on the "coastal" side of the key which protects it from the open ocean a little.
It's a ridiculously wealthy area too, so they'll just fix hurricane damage and erosion. TBH it's not something he has to worry about there.

Before I read the article, my reaction was “well, I don’t understand how the ocean works, either, so maybe this is one of the few things I won’t make fun of him for.”
But we’re not talking about fluid dynamics or complex weather patterns. This is basic, simple Geometry 101 stuff. Yeah, I can and will make fun of him for not understanding it.
You really need to lower your expectations w/r/t trump.
