I'm not sure that's feasible, since the states don't just sign a check to the Feds once a year, it's paid via payroll taxes. To my knowledge, there is no kind of mechanism for entire states to collectively refuse payment.

Well, yes, but I meant they to pool their budgets amongst themselves, like a mini federal government.

Blue states need to start up their own shadow government, fund their own shit.

We're not placating Putin, we're actively realigning ourselves with him. He is our ally in the Moscow-Maralago Axis of Evil.

I'm not sure even that would be enough. It's not even an open secret that he's a pedophile and rapist. He's been convicted of the ladder, and he was best friends with Epstein.

Nobody cares.

If a video came out of him raping children, he'd just call it "fake news" and move on, and his supporters would mostly follow him. They've made themselves totally subservient to his whims.

They're blind apologists for the various left regimes that have identified themselves as leftist, anti-imperialist, anti-western, sometimes even including North Korea and Cambodia under Pol Pot. Often they align themselves with right-wing governments like modern Russia and Iran, because they're against the geopolitical west.

The term was coined after the USSR rolled tanks into Hungary in the 50's to squash pro (Socialist) democracy protests. Some leftists stuck with the Soviets as they matched into Hungary and Praugue, and others spoke out against what they saw as tyrannical repression of democracy.

They think the gravy train lasts forever, seemingly unaware the fascists would be more than happy to see them in the same camps as the rest of us, and would make that happen the moment they get the chance, without a moments hesitation.

You know why. We all know why.

The party leadership needs to step down.

I think you misread their comment, they're asking for a separate €100 billion in climate spending.
