"Now with us, we can freely move ourselves through physical space - that's how we fly. So, we don't have to pivot on our feet and push off the ground. We can literally push off anything, we can create our own leverage." - Omniman

Just felt like that should be quoted. No specific reason.

Yeah, that's pretty much how constellations got invented.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 7 months ago (1 children)

The original versions of the stories the Brothers Grimm wrote down were also very X-Rated. More like horror hard core porn. You can't look back on the children's stories in quite the same way after reading version 1.

ancient people who imagined centaurs and dragons out of 5 to 10 points would probably have their minds blown with todays space photography

It's the nebula that's backing that dummy thicc ass up, not us.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 7 months ago

Nebula already was in jail in form of a dense star, all those particles banging and fusing with each other for millennia, at some point their jail(er, the Perv. Grab Ity) couldn't contain the horny no longer. So they exploded in a beautiful galactic exhibitionism piece of the thicc kind.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 7 months ago

My gas giants are dummy thic.

[–] roguetrick 7 points 7 months ago

Adding those donkey balls to the cake nebula was going a little overboard.

[–] M137 6 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago)
