Her Wikipedia page says it all:

Marjorie Taylor Greene, also known by her initials MTG, is an American far-right politician, businesswoman, and conspiracy theorist[3]

Throughout the Russo-Ukrainian War, Greene has promoted Russian propaganda, including claims that Ukraine is a Nazi state,[220] and praised Vladimir Putin.[221] During the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, she criticized the "corrupt" Ukrainian government and argued against sending Ukraine weapons.[222] She has suggested that Ukraine instigated the invasion by agitating Russia.[223] In 2024, Greene proposed an amendment to a House foreign aid bill on Ukraine that would require all members of the House voting in favor of the bill to enlist in the Ukrainian military.[224]

The whole page is fucking crazy. She doesn't even sound like a real person, but a caricature that someone created. Wtf.

On her first day in office, Greene wore a face mask onto the House floor that read "Trump Won", despite Trump having lost the 2020 U.S. presidential election to Joe Biden.

Greene has promoted antisemitic, white supremacist, and far-right conspiracy theories, including the white genocide conspiracy theory,[6][7] QAnon, and Pizzagate

she supported calls to execute prominent Democratic Party politicians, including Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama

As a congresswoman, she equated the Democratic Party with Nazis

Greene aided and supported Trump's attempts to overturn the 2020 U.S. presidential election

In a series of tweets following the attack on the Capitol, Greene falsely suggested that the rioters were members of antifa dressed as Trump supporters.

the U.S. House of Representatives voted to remove her from all committee roles [...] Eleven Republicans joined the unanimous Democrats in the vote

I wish so much I could listen to her inner conversation. I want to know what is going on in a head that does this completely insane shit but is still functioning enough to not be institutionalized.

[–] [email protected] 39 points 5 months ago

The smartest things coming out of her mouth are other people's words.

Yet another confirmation of what we've known already for a long time, that the far-right and MAGA are pawns for the Russians...

I mean christ almighty I don't think there's a single person alive who sucked Putin's dick as hard as Trump did during his time as president, and he's supposed to be the poster-child for the whole thing.

Transcarpathia is far too long a word for her to spell.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 5 months ago (1 children)

So are words like "the", "but", and "and".

[–] [email protected] 9 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Not to mention that she probably doesn't like words that start with trans-.

[–] Hazor 4 points 5 months ago

I can just imagine the conversation she had with the handler that gave her the instructions to do this, and the sheer exhaustion they must have felt in having to explain to her repeatedly that it had nothing to do with trans kids.

[–] cabron_offsets 27 points 5 months ago

Jesus fuck. It couldn’t be more obvious if she was wearing a fucking ushanka.

[–] magnusrufus 20 points 5 months ago

Those words coming from a political wing known for screaming at minorities to learn to speak American should be another huge tell that her motivation is not as she presents it.

Марджори Тейлор Грин aka Москва мардж Might as well use her new name in her MAGA native tongue

[–] IchNichtenLichten 21 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Generous of you to assume she has the mental capacity to learn a second language. She still struggles with basic English.

[–] breadsmasher 8 points 5 months ago

You’re totally right. Baboon marge can definitely read russian at the same level as english

We used to punish traitors. Now the GOP celebrates them.

[–] [email protected] 20 points 5 months ago (1 children)

We literally have never adequately punished traitors, which is why dimwits are still waving Confederate flags to this day.

[–] captainlezbian 2 points 5 months ago

Yeah, nobody hanged for killing their fellow Americans for the right to own human beings. Like, that’s fucking insane. Motive obviously needs taken into account with crimes, and their motive just made their crimes worse.

[–] andxz 8 points 5 months ago

I'd love to see her try to point out Transcarpathia on a map, or Hungary, even. It'd be hilarious.

I just had to post this in reply to a comment someone replied to me yesterday, because they were adamant Fashy Maggie was just a useful idiot and not a Russian agent.

Turns out, the user is just a useful idiot running interference for Kremlin supported Republicans. I'm shocked.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 5 months ago (2 children)

Where do you draw the line between the two though? When exactly does a useful idiot become a Russian agent?

[–] [email protected] 9 points 5 months ago (1 children)

When they accept money for their service?

If you are pushing Russias talking points and not getting paid for it then that is the definition of an idiot.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Do we know she took money from the Russians though? She's the same person that promoted a jewish space laser conspiracy theory, I'm not sure it's possible to underestimate her intelligence.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 5 months ago

We do not have access to her accounts, and we are not allowed to audit people's transactions.

IRS should be able to figure out whether she took money from the Russian.

But to answer your question indirectly, I didn't suggest that she was a Russian agent, I was just responding to the part about distinguishing between agents and idiots. I wouldn't be shocked if she was doing it on the hope that they would pay her rather than actually being paid.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 5 months ago

Is there a line? That would be a question about what punishment to give, not about guilt.

[–] Syringe 5 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Isn't law enforcement supposed to be dealing with this shit? Isn't this the NSAs whole fucking job?

[–] extant 3 points 5 months ago (1 children)

The FBI would be the one to investigates internal affairs, the NSA and CIA are supposed to be tasked for foreign investigations. The FBI at one point did an outstanding job of discovering corruption in our politicians at one point but they did such a good job congress made sure to neuter them so they could never do it again. It was called Operation Abscam if you want to look it up.

[–] Syringe 3 points 5 months ago (1 children)

This would count as a foreign interference investigation, would it not?

[–] extant 2 points 5 months ago

I suppose it depends on what or whom is being investigated, but I imagine or at least hope they would cooperate and the FBI would investigate the individual and the NSA/CIA the foreign entity.

[–] Jimmyeatsausage 5 points 5 months ago

Oh? She doesn't want them to just build a wall? Weird.

[–] ZILtoid1991 4 points 5 months ago

Note on the whole Hungary thing:

In Hungary, territorial revisionism is very popular. A lot of people blame Treaty of Trianon for every ill Hungary gets, thanks to our education system being unable to teach nuanced statements like "maybe the Hungarians weren't always the heroes, and sometimes did bad things.

Adam Something used to have a video on the subject, detailing the lengths Hungarian education system went to Disneyfy some of our past crimes (thankfully, when it comes to the Holocaust, it only goes "dude, we absolutely got a gun held to our heads, what do you mean by the anti-Jewish laws?").

[–] ghostdoggtv 4 points 5 months ago

American congressmen tripping about aid to Ukraine when the war with Russia is basically here. Prepare for more violence than you can imagine, that's where they're taking us.
