Honestly the only people I try to "convert" to Linux are my friends who already hate Windows, which is most of them these days.
Sadly a lot of them either still regularly use programs we can't get running on Linux yet (okay it's mostly Fortnite...). Or they're not the most tech literate people and switching to a whole new OS seems like an impossible task.
Only gotten two peeps on board the Linux train and they both had previous experience with it from school or work.
Solution regarding Fortnite: Hook them on a game that runs well on Linux π.

I never understood the premise of that porn. There is a guy sitting in a metro train with his fully errect cock and people are not doing anything. The lady sits next to the guy who has a tank top but nothing else? Also why does he have a fully errect cock? Imagine the tension and embarrassment you'll get in that situation. Why can't we? There's a mountain of non-porn memes, just use those if you want. It's not like porn memes are the only memes.
Memes die when they become too widely spread and your elderly relatives start using them wrong on Facebook. People like porn memes because they have a little extra shock value, and will never be ruined by aunt Gertrude using it.

I just gave them facts. If they take that as me trying to convince them they might want to evaluate why facts sway them more than propaganda does.
I evangelize Linux irl by simply keeping my computer always tuned up, up to date and working well. It's inevitable that someone's windows or mac shitbook will do something shitty and people will pay attention to me just for not having the same problems as them. For example the other day by brother wanted to watch spongebob, his macbook wouldn't let him connect to the TV so I plugged it right in to Arch Linux and it worked like a charm. Sometimes the superiority of Linux simply speaks for itself.
