I prefer using the coping saw for eggs that are medium-sized or smaller. A delicate cut for a delicate egg!

Corner of the counter. I have perfected cracking eggs on that edge I always mess it up on the cooking vessel

If it’s a plastic bowl I use the counter, otherwise whatever I put it into
