The big obligatory mention has gotta be Black Mirror on Netflix. Will you love every episode? Probably not. Will you like every episode? Maybe. Are there some exceptionally amazing episodes? Most definitely! It's worth a shot.
The mood can vary vastly so I'd recommend checking out a few of the top rated episodes out of order. If you end up liking them, I think it's worth it to go back and watch the rest from the beginning. You can look at high rated episodes on something like IMDB and see if any sound interesting to check out first. The list I'd choose from would be:
Others that I might switch out with this list from time to time:
No matter what you do I wouldn't recommend starting with the first episode. It's arguably the most divisive and so many people disliked it that they started there and never watched any others since they thought they'd all be the same. I thought it was good but can completely understand why it might not be the best introduction to hook in a wide audience. That said, I enjoyed them all, though easily some more than others.

I've watched several episodes of it & enjoyed them, but it is very much an either go in with the right mindset or pick whichever episodes sound interesting to you series. That's totally fair, the episodes can definitely get pretty dour! I'm not sure which ones you've already seen but if you're looking for the episodes that end up being more uplifting and fun, they are:

Ah, thanks! I'll have to give some of them a watch sometime!
