A 4k monitor. It's like making your desk 4 times bigger.

I know this is sacrilegious (especially as a professional software developer who works from home) but I actually think it's too much screen space. I have a second 4k monitor that I almost never use because it always ends up with a lot of empty wasted space, so it just stays off most of the time. It really only gets used when I have something on my main monitor full screen, but even then it rarely has more than a 1080p screens' worth of content

As a fellow professional software developer, I'm very disapointed with you. I don't quite understand this concept of "enough screen space".

Currently planning on upgrading to dual 5120 x 2160 (stacked ontop of each other).

I have 1 32” 4k and 2 27” 1440p displays and I also don’t understand this concept of “enough space”

I rarely use all 3, but the situations where I do would be a lot more of a pain with only 1-2 monitors
