As a queer ant who cares about their neffew, you should sit down with them and have a thorough conversation to figure out if they read something on the internet and thought it was cool or if they're actually bi.

And if it's the latter you can help them navigate the difficult landscape of bisexuality.

But, no, ofc, be my guest, you go ensure that kid now feels entitled af while not knowing a fuckin damn thing about themselves. That will surely help them become a healthy well-adjusted adult unlike their aunt. Oh, wait.

Now let's watch 196 beat the living hell out of me. I, unfortunately, do believe in everything I just said. This is not a drill.

I only want to beat you because you said so. Don't "woe-is-me, I'm the victim" if you're gonna doubt someone's identity like that.

You think certified bisexuals don't also suffer because of this shit? You think our attraction doesn't ebb and flow over time, leading to pointless imposter syndrome because you were worried about keeping out "trenders" for some reason?

If they end up being wrong, acceptance is still the best strategy. Let them know they can always change their mind. Bi people may later identify as straight, gay people as bi, and vice versa.

They may not have been entirely wrong either; it's not like anyone knows how it works for certain. If you think anyone does, you don't understand the current state of science. You're just a "queer ant" trying to justify prejudice about people who are different ๐Ÿ™„
