NetEase Games has reportedly laid off the entire Seattle-based studio working on the game.

There are a lot of options in the Medieval City builder category. Manor Lords is the big one I think.

City Tales Medieval Era is a bit different. You can draw your own districts and watch them grow organically. Which is damn cool. The way the game deals with workers is different from anything I have seen. You send a companion to train the workers. Once they are trained the buildings operates on their own. The companion moves to the next building in need. No more juggling workers.

Game is not out yet, soon (tm) Worth a wishlist add or watch if you enjoy a good city builder.

I guess the most popular ones are Football Manager (FM) and Out of the Park baseball (OOTP) series. Have you played any other not so well known manager games and enjoyed them?

My first manager game was Championship Manager in the 90s. It was like a drug. We had a player group in school and shared some tactics and player transfer tips. I also played some OOTP maybe 15 years ago when I studied some baseball rules and watched often MLB.

Now I have played some FM (EGS giving them for free all the time), Football tactics and glory, We are football and I’m hoping for OOTP 25 sales before 26 arrives (That series has taken some graphical steps up and they also have MLB license).

I would also pay anything for a quality boxing manager game but I have never found a good one.

I'm looking for a set of gamepads to play local co-op games with my fiance. A while back I purchased an Xbox Elite controller expecting it to be sturdy since, it's Microsoft's premium controller targeted at both Xbox and PC. Shortly later, my bumper broke which appears to be because the bumpers are just a piece of plastic being bent over and over. It looks like they ported this same defect over to the Xbox Elite 2 controller without fixing it and at this point, I'm done.

I was looking at Sony controllers, I'm a little worried about there compatibility with PC (Windows and Linux) and also the fact that I have large hands.

Scuff also came up, but their prices are pretty high and IDkK how durable they are.

What do you suggest?

My daughter (5) loves to play games with me on my PC. Favorites of hers include Spyro Reignited, Untitled Goose Game, House Flipper, and Skyrim (she basically putts around whatever town I throw her in and steals from the locals' homes).

She is really into anything with simple mechanics, non-scary exploration, and minimal reading/menu navigation. Being able to go into various houses is a huge plus. She loves to snoop.

Tonight she was laughing her ass off while watching gameplay from a game called I Am Cat. I told her I'd get it for her, but unfortunately it's VR-only, and you can't strap those things to a little kid. I believe you have to be 12+ to use them safely without adverse effects on development and motor skills.

When asked just now for anything she'd like to add, she said, "Funny, happy, and beautiful!"

With all of that said, any recommendations?

Pretty disappointing. Sure it's a great GPU and the price is okay but it's not a generational leap forward. Steve at Gamer's Nexus pointed out that the 5090 is so much faster, with more of a performance difference between it and the X080 card than normal.

27% faster and 25% more expensive than the 4090 at 4K.

The review doesn't use DLSS 4 which will have a separate video

"All of this work is broadly applicable to the PC platform, and it’s going to continue to expand over time. Supporting multiple platforms, multiple chipsets, controllers for different machines that are out there and even ones that aren’t out yet."

[...] Valve's goal with the OS is to have it compatible with traditional PCs, laptops, portable consoles and any other formats.

I hear nothing but bad things when the topic of Unreal Engine 5 is brought up. It's also true that the games I've played which use this engine have suffered from poor performance to one degree or another, so it seems like the complaints are well-founded, but I don't actually know.

Is it a bad engine, or is it just not being used correctly by either the devs when they design their games or the players when they choose their graphical settings? Or a bit of both? What's actually wrong with it, in layman's terms?

Cheers!

The B580 surpasses the performance of the RTX 4060 and at a lower cost per frame.

Vintage Story has a cold and snowy winter vibe. However, there is a lack of seasonal decorations. Thankfully, there is a great mod that can help you achieve holiday perfection 🎅🎄
