I think he imagines that starting needless conflicts makes him look tough, not like the clueless moron he is.

I'm drinking them now. I love the burn.

Trump is replacing the top people with fascist loyalists. It's likely the military would cooperate.

By "tyranny" they mean (1) being expected to pay taxes to pay for society's basic functioning, and (2) being expected to treat others with respect.

It's OK. We know. But the US needs to be rid of this Nazi regime.

Absolutely. With a bit of investment this is an opportunity for any other country to poach some of the world's best scientists. And Canada has geographical and cultural advantages in that competition. It would be a good investment for the long term.

Actors would be at the labouring end of things though, rather than the exploiting end. And if you're an actor who lands big roles you're going to get paid well for your work. Maybe you'd be paid too well and pay should be more evenly distributed between you and less well known actors, but that's really a different question from the one about exploitation.

Why do you think bird flu will only kill people who don't believe in vaccines? Even if there is a vaccine for it (which I don't think there is right now), a virus circulating freely due to large numbers of unvaccinated people, antimaskers, etc. will kill all kinds of people, not just the antivax/antimask people. This is what we saw with COVID, and bird flu will be a lot worse.

The ethical route, ie “white hat”, is to contact the owners about the exploit with a fixed period disclosure. Ie, “fix this in 30-90 days, or we will publish our method”.

I'm not sure that is the ethical route when you're talking about disrupting the operations of a Nazi-led government.

Trans people need lots of real allies who are prepared to put themselves in danger to defend them.

Anyone who leaves a message in full view to announce they've accessed the system isn't the real danger. If whoever this is could get in, so can the real experts from China, Russia, North Korea, etc. There's no way Musk's DOGE people, in their destructive haste, have taken any care over security. It's even likely his team of punchable kids put in their own backdoors, thinking they were being clever. If and when foreign adversaries find their way in through those, they're not putting up an announcement.
