SSX Tricky through Xemu
Been playing Dave the Diver. Pretty chill. Great game to play after a stressful day at work haha
Fallout new Vegas , I'm doing a new run after so many years Feels good
Modded or vanilla? If modded did you use any guide?
Only vanilla for now.
Invincible, Death Stranding, Gunner Heat PC, Deep Rock Galactic, Trepang^2^.
Starting to approach my limit on FPS games. Maybe transition a bit back on 4X games or base builders.
I am playing Coremon :)
I’m deep down in the Snow Runner-trench. It’s like Euro Truck Simulator, but mud and snow and in a week I’ve already spent like 14 hours or so. It take sooo much time to get things done though.
Snowrunner is brilliant
I bought so many games. Sales are going insane right now. I’m playing Tetris Effect (but there’re issues with TV output currently) and Horizon Zero Dawn. I’ll hop on Monster Hunter World every now and then too.
Whatever else I play, I always come back to Stardew Valley. There's always something you can do there, and there's always something you can find. It just never gets me bored.
I've been playing Murder by Numbers. I actually like it more on my deck than on my PC, as I like the controller interface better than with a mouse.
I’ve been playing this too! Feels funny to play a game on the Deck that could probably be a mobile game lol.
I played through this awhile back, enjoyed it a lot.
I've been playing this as well! If I have more time, I play a part of the story, and if I don't, I play a few puzzles of “Scout‘s memories”.
I've been racking up Scouts memories to play through after I'm done with the story.
I think I'm about 1/2 through the final chapter right now, so I should be getting over to Scout shortly.
I've been playing Planet of Lana. It's a puzzle platformer, very similar to Limbo or Inside. But there are some different mechanics that involve a companion animal that follows you around.
Just finished high on life and started breathedge.
I'll be playing through Risk of Rain Returns, Yakuza Kiwami 2, and my backlog of visual novels. The deck has become my main gaming machine now.
Been playing RDR Online with a friend, but had to make a new account because the email to my 10 year old account tied to my PlayStation is old and deleted, and rockstar support seems to be breaking the record for hottest garbage I’ve encountered so far.
Station 2 Station. I dont think its Deck Verified yet, but it runs great. Its so easy to turn off brain, chill to the music, and lay down some train tracks and bridges while the time just disappears. If you want, you can tryhard it, which is also fun, depending on the mood.
Just got back into plateup today after a long hiatus. It's great alone or with friends, and always seems to be on sale.
Final Profit. Talos Principle 2, and now I get enough of the mechanics to go back and do a lot of Talos Principle 1.
Binding of isaac rebirth. Fun Lil game. I got gnawed leaf and midas touch on one go. Easiest thing ever. Just stand there, max out coins, and everything that touches me dies. Funny as shit.
Still finishing Control, as well as Kaiju Wars, which has helped scratch that Advance Wars itch while also being new
I've just discovered Brotato. I'm obsessed.
Sea of Stars
Just finished Dragons Dogma for the 26th time and still had a craving for open world RPG so bought Dragon Age Inquisition as the GOTY is 80% off.
It was supposed to be"unsupported" but it was an easy fix to make it work and it runs absolutely amazing.
Farm Together - been playing with my gf split screen co-op on tv. The game is exactly what it says on the tin and it is awesome.
Modded Dayz (using DZGUI as mod manager) - I have been working on a steamdeck joystick+gyro control scheme and playing a bunch of V++ deathmatch and other deathmatch servers. Dayz runs almost comically well on the steamdeck I really don’t get it. The gunplay is unbelievably chunky and intense especially on servers with carefully curated gun mods. I love it.
Halo Infinite - finally not hardcrashing on me all the time on the steamdeck, I love the original three halos and despite what old halo fans half paying attention will tell you, halo infinite’s multiplayer is superb. It doesn’t hurt that it is free.
Deep Rock Galactic - Is there anything to even say about this gem?
Battlebit - I am having fun, I love having battlefield without EA but the problem is like a lot of battlefields the gun balance is totallllyyyyyyyyy skewed in favor of smg players who blindly rush so I am just not playing it as much right now. I can hold my ground and fight mid range more effectively in halo infinite without being call of duty smg spam which kind of breaks my brain (the guns I am using to do so half the time don’t even have iron sights lol?). I hope they fix this game.
(I play all of these with joysticks + gyro, no mouse and keyboard)
Chilling with Teardown and a bit of Automation: The Car Company Tycoon Game on the weekends. Exam week is nigh, so I won't have much free time, but I really really want to grab Class of 09 on the Winter sale. It's full of SOVL.
I'm playing through Persona 5, but I've also gotten on a pinball kick lately. Picked up Demon's Tilt and Xenotilt during the steam sale, and have also been emulating Metroid Prime Pinball which is the game that first got me into pinball.
I'm interested in any other pinball recommendations if anyone has some.
Go into desktop mode's Discover Store, and get Space Cadet Pinball
Thanks for the suggestion, I actually have played that so much in prior years that I got kinda burned out on it. It's a good pinball game for sure though.
RDR2 when I want to get immersed.
Shovel Knight when I want something lighter.
Hades.
Having just finished Hollow Knight (in fact, I mentioned starting it in one of the previous discussion threads ), I find Hades to be a bit too repetitive. But I don’t want to make the same mistakes I did with Hollow Knight and give up early.
I will give this game a few more days before forming a conclusive opinion.
Speaking of Hollow Knight, I am glad I didn’t give up yet again. The game really opens up after the first few boss fights, and it was really fun exploring the lore, levelling up, and going through some of the bosses.
