I'll be playing through Risk of Rain Returns, Yakuza Kiwami 2, and my backlog of visual novels. The deck has become my main gaming machine now.

It feels too early for a new Steam Deck, I would think that would take another 2 or 3 years. I would love something like a standalone VR though, but VR on linux is not in the best shape yet so I'm not sure how that would go.
Whichever works best for you. I would recommend Wayland to anyone, but if you run into any problems with it (either bugs with your compositor or protocol limitations), then just use X11.
Surprised that it still had Denuvo up until now. I'm pretty sure they accidentally released a Denuvo-free executable on the day the game launched so the game was pretty much cracked instantly.
I doubt Denuvo helped their initial sales at all. Doom Eternal is a good game and that's what actually makes them money, not stopping the pirates out there.
Infinity was one of the best mobile Reddit apps I've ever used. Now the only thing keeping me on Reddit still is the RES extension. When that will eventually stop working too or Reddit decides to get rid of old Reddit, I'll be deleting my account.
Luckily, there is an Infinity fork for Lemmy.
Why should beginners approaching web development stay away from WASM? I've used it a few times to create online demos of software I made in Rust and it was a very simple and painless experience to get it working in a website. I consider myself a beginner and I have not run into any issues with it so far.
Rather, use un-googled chromium. Brave is kind of bloated with all of the extra "features" they have.
Any roguelikes you like. Though my picks for games would be Vampire Survivors, Slay the Spire, Dead Cells, and risk of rain 2.
