You know, if you just kill everyone, there will be nobody left to accuse you of supporting atrocities.

[–] AllonzeeLV 47 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Humanity is going to humanity.

What you propose is the only solution.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 8 months ago

The final one, even.

[–] SoftScotch 28 points 8 months ago (3 children)

Death solves all problems...

[–] robocall 19 points 8 months ago

Upvote for death

[–] [email protected] 8 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Except for death...

Unless you're Jesus.

[–] AliceTheMinotaur 5 points 8 months ago

Judge death does.

The crime is life the sentence is death.

Actually the trail is a self sustaining dynamic system habitable by humans that is so long, that one round is exactly 20 years of travel time long. Enough time to birth a new generation on the tracks so that the killing won't stop.

After birthing the infants are placed directly after the train which runs through their mother so that the cycle of endless suffering may never stop.

To enforce this really, decay of a nuclear and of a sub nuclear level don't exist, just as quantum fluctuations don't so that there truly is no escape.

So definitely flip the lever to the "Faster" setting, got it. 👍🏼

Dark Urge up in this bitch.

[–] saltesc 68 points 8 months ago (4 children)

I literally thought of this yesterday.

"Hold up. Why have I been put in this situation? Where's those responsible? Has anyone gone after the bridge guy, the brakes guy? Is anyone trying to get the sick fucks tying people down on tracks? What's being put in place to prevent this? Fences?Cameras? E-brakes? Who has liability and are they getting investigated?"

"Just Shutup and choose."

"I guess B is most logical."

"Oooh, you're a sick murderer and just want people dead!"

It's hard to participate when most people only have an A/B, us/them, left/right, right/wrong mentality view on things when it's obviously more complex when viewed from a few steps back. It's being stuck in either yard or on the fence, but if you climb a tree you'll realise there's many more yards and fences to the street to consider.

How dare you kill that person, that makes you a murderer!!!!1!

[–] SkyezOpen 5 points 8 months ago

It's trolley problems all the way down.

[–] Shardikprime -1 points 8 months ago

To save billions

[–] [email protected] 15 points 8 months ago

Enough with that! You can't question the trolley situation, it's been like this for generations. Get on board. We have flags!

[–] [email protected] 6 points 8 months ago

Your last paragraph is so good - thanks

[–] [email protected] 2 points 8 months ago (1 children)

I rather think you're missing the point.

[–] saltesc 7 points 8 months ago

Well, that doesn't mean I can't share something I thought of the other day before seeing this reminder :)

[–] [email protected] 36 points 8 months ago (2 children)

Your first problem is giving a shit what anyone else thinks.

[–] [email protected] 15 points 8 months ago (2 children)

According to this I can go naked in the streets

[–] Acters 5 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Second problem: too many people give a shot about what you do or look like

[–] Shardikprime 0 points 8 months ago

Well, what will you do if you had one shot, one opportunity?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 8 months ago (3 children)

In principle, in a free country, you should be able to. But you can't, so it's not actually free.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 8 months ago

How far does that freedom to do what you please extend? Am I not actually free because I can't beat up people I disagree with? Personally I feel the freedom to disagree without the threat of violence is more important.

There is freedom to, and there is freedom from. Don't undervalue freedom from.

[–] blue_zephyr -2 points 8 months ago

You've confused freedom with anarchy. By your logic you should be able to murder anyone you please or else it's not a free country.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 8 months ago (2 children)

I don't give a shit about your opinion!

[–] [email protected] 2 points 8 months ago

Good for you. I'm happy for you. That's a good way to live.

[–] Shardikprime 0 points 8 months ago

What about two shits?

They're could be a manure opportunity in here

[–] robocall 29 points 8 months ago (1 children)
[–] [email protected] 27 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Oh no! I knew this would be controversial.

[–] [email protected] 19 points 8 months ago (1 children)

The best part is you can edit the title and none would be the wiser

I'm still getting used to being able to edit post titles after years of being unable to

There's no dilemma. If the goal is to express disapproval to people, then do what people think is disapproval... Which is doing nothing covered by some acting to appear as trying to do something

[–] EmpathicVagrant 5 points 8 months ago

Yeah! In the form of acting like we care while doing nothing, like mentioned in the prior comment.

[–] [email protected] 17 points 8 months ago

Do you even know what the rest of the people on the tracks will do if you stop the trolley? You will be responsible for what happens to the trolley operators and passengers.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 8 months ago (1 children)

The lever has two settings .... FAST .... or .... FASTER

[–] Shardikprime -1 points 8 months ago

In fact is FAST-ER so it just takes you to the emergency room at the end of being mangled by a train

How does it take you there? Well, where do you think the train was going in the first place

[–] [email protected] 6 points 8 months ago

Hypocrites! The ones in the trolley are the one in motion
