B, you're trying to sever the brain from the body, not the neck

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

Also Argentinasauruses are like worms. If you leave too much of the neck attached it'll survive and grow a new body.

As a French, I can offer my expertise on Guillotine executions : it's B

[–] [email protected] 19 points 1 year ago (3 children)

I'd go with B for obvious reasons

[–] SpaceNoodle 17 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It's far from obvious

I'd bisect the neck

The good one

[–] Viking_Hippie 5 points 1 year ago

The evil one

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 year ago (1 children)

No way, I'd go for A. Wouldn't want that long neck wriggling about after the cut.

[–] [email protected] 18 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Why not just use two guillotines so you can do a and b. Best of both worlds.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Who the heck has the budget for 2 guillotines??

It's clearly B. If you ever needed to put that head on a pike to send a message, you wouldn't want to carry that big neck around.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

Thats a very convincing argument

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Exactly what I thought about

Maybe it depends where you would cut a human head of? In either way here is the skeleton of a Argentinosaurus:

Skeleton of an argentinosaurus

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 year ago

I do believe that Argentinosaurus has cancer between the 23rd and 24th vertebrae. They might want a second opinion.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 year ago

Alright! Now we can really start diving in. Would the gaps between vertebrae get larger at the base of the neck compared to the base of the skull? I'd imagine those thick bones could pose a problem for a guillotine blade.

That looks like a way too small heart for such a huge body. It looks only about 3-4 times bigger than human heart

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Oh, is that what that is? Thank you!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I'm not sure either but it's my best guess

[–] peopleproblems 3 points 1 year ago

Wasn't there a significantly higher concentration of oxygen 65 million years ago or something? That might make it easier for big things to get enough oxygen for aerobic processes.

I don't know shit about fuck with chemistry and biology it just sounds right

[–] unnecessarygoat 1 points 1 year ago

this is a much better skeleton of Argentinosaurus

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I'm not seeing a human head on the dinosaur tho

[–] [email protected] 11 points 1 year ago

B but I also wouldn' use that guillotine, I'd use the 300ton one that the US government has for decapitating B52s

[–] FederatedSaint 10 points 1 year ago

This makes me sad for the poor Argentinasaurus

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 year ago

I feel weirdly uncomfortable with both and I would choose c) in the middle of the neck And I am not sure how to view you as a human being if your perception differs

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 year ago

A because its a smaller one and therefore easier to decapitate.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 year ago

B, obviously

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 year ago

I would say B. Also, you would need a bigger basket for the head to fall into and probably a few more people on hand if you wanted to lift the head up to display to the crowd.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago

Why not both.

Look at the picture like : BABABABABABABABABABA ... To unlock a new power

[–] Noodle07 1 points 1 year ago

You guys don't understand, you're supposed to make slices from a to b

[–] joneskind 1 points 1 year ago

I have a serious question (kind of): Where would you cut the throat of a giraffe to make it kosher?
