in no real order - digg, slashdot, facebook (if that counts), a forum website named postcrap that an acquaintance developed but has long since died, various newsgroups, etc. probably a few others I cant remember, I've been "online" since 1994.

Rules: (interactive)
1) Be nice and; have fun
Doxxing, trolling, sealioning, racism, and toxicity are not welcomed in AskLemmy. Remember what your mother said: if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. In addition, the site-wide Lemmy.world terms of service also apply here. Please familiarize yourself with them

5) This is not a support community.
It is not a place for 'how do I?', type questions.

Soooo many. Like real forums. Dedicated to a specific hobby, for example. But hey, now I'm a member of some "old school" forums again, I already quit Reddit months ago.
I was pretty active on XDA Developers and Mobile Device related Forums (Phandroid, mac-forums)
Bungie.net forums, baby! Back before they closed the old site to make a new one.
I was super into Digg. Even had a blog post I wrote featured on Diggnation.
I loved Tribes 1 and 2 a long time ago, so I frequented the forums of Tribalwar.com a ton. You get to know the members, their personality, it was a fun, if a little rough around the edges community. During the reddit black out, I thought I'd check it out again, and holy shit it's an absolute cesspool now. Conspiracy theories, hard right MAGA worship, rampant antisemitism and racism in general. Holy crap, I had no idea, and frankly it was better off left as a pleasant memories from years gone by.
Serebii, BZPower and Mask of Destiny (Bionicle), played Transformice and a Rumble Fighter, chatted on msn and mIRC, 9gag.
Since it hasn't been mentioned yet: Facepunch
Digg, Slashdot, Facebook, MySpace. Before that, I was just using a forum called Tandjent for Meshuggah and metal fans and GearSlutz.
Some local BBSs I’ve forgotten the name of. Then Neowin and Macrumors. Still active on Macrumors, well, as much as work allows.
