I do find it funny how "horse with a horn" is a fantastical creature that doesn't exist
But narwhals with fucking lances on their heads and giraffes with their long ass necks do
I do find it funny how “horse with a horn” is a fantastical creature that doesn’t exist
It was just medieval descriptions of a rhino because how else do you explain it to people in Europe
Wow! Look at that massive beast with one Horn! I bet it weighs as much as a house, How would you even describe that thing?
Hmmm, it's a gay horse.
Why a swordfish when narwhals exist!? https://images.app.goo.gl/bjqptE9WzdJFoKw87
They were causing too much of a commotion
Because you will summon...them.
Only if the meme includes a side of bacon
At midnight. /scratches neckbeard
I understood the reference. /Feels old
Because it says high speed underwater unicorn... narwhals top at 4kph, swordfish top at 64kph.
I'll take a slow actual water unicorn over some billed fish anyway, regardless of speed.
if a narwhal is a unicorn then so is a warthog
Narwhals have a single horn sticking out of their face from between their eyes. A Warthog has two tusks sticking out from either side of their mouth. At least their both mammals.
The narwhal "horn" is actually a tusk, and rarely they can have two.
Fair point. Still more of a horn than a fish bill.
both narwhals and warthogs can have their teeth pierce the tops of their heads as they grow
Can you explain why every unicorn horn I've ever seen much more closely resembles a narwhal tusk than a rhino's horn? Are unicorn horns even horns?!
narwhal tusks are teeth but rhino horns are hair
But what about unicorns?! Are they tusks or horns?!
they're probably teeth
So, by extension, narwhals are way more similar to unicorns than a fish and perhaps it's the rhino that's the odd one out.
yeah but that also mean they're closer to warthogs than either of the others
No one talking about that rhino clearly having two corns?
Bicorn.
He’s an assault unicorn so he has a backup assault uni-horn. Obv
So many hours of my childhood well wasted
If you enjoyed it, it wasn't a waste.
However I've 100%'d Yoshi's Island... twice. Three times if you count Yoshi's Island DS. And now I make romhacks of Yoshi's Island and Super Mario World today. I might have a problem!
Narwhals narwhals swimming in the ocean ...
...making a commotion...
no narwhals?
I think they are trying to keep this based a bit more in reality and not bring in other fantasy creatures.
A swordfish is a variety of fishpecker, not a unicorn
The person who made this image, and OP are dumb as fuck. Narwhals are the unicorns of the sea, not fucking swordfish. A unicorns horn is not the same as just a pointy thing.
Afaik the "horn" of a narwhal is a tooth though.
Correct, it's a tusk, not a horn.
Unicorns by definition have one horn, while rhinoceroses have two. So clearly there's something else wrong there.
I'm starting to think that unicorn was just a horse with a dildo.
Aerial unicorn... The 359 Fighter Group is a 1940's US Air Force unit that flew several operations in WWII in P-51 Mustang aircraft. "The Unicorns" were their conical name and had insignia patches to match!
