I'll take a slow actual water unicorn over some billed fish anyway, regardless of speed.

if a narwhal is a unicorn then so is a warthog

Narwhals have a single horn sticking out of their face from between their eyes. A Warthog has two tusks sticking out from either side of their mouth. At least their both mammals.

The narwhal "horn" is actually a tusk, and rarely they can have two.

Fair point. Still more of a horn than a fish bill.

both narwhals and warthogs can have their teeth pierce the tops of their heads as they grow

Can you explain why every unicorn horn I've ever seen much more closely resembles a narwhal tusk than a rhino's horn? Are unicorn horns even horns?!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

narwhal tusks are teeth but rhino horns are hair

[–] Damionsipher 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

But what about unicorns?! Are they tusks or horns?!

So, by extension, narwhals are way more similar to unicorns than a fish and perhaps it's the rhino that's the odd one out.

yeah but that also mean they're closer to warthogs than either of the others
