This. And they will pretend to be happy until redundancies come.
This cynicism makes no sense unless you're completely unaware of the context of this studio.
I am perfectly well aware what happens after acquisitions. Give it six up to twelve months and check again.
Are you aware that this studio was already fully shut down by Microsoft and this company swooped in to keep most of it intact? No matter what happens 6-12 months from now, it's better than if they weren't purchased.
Eh let's hope for the sequel of Hi-Fi rush. Loved the first one

Do they own the rights to Evil Within or does Bethesda?
The only IP that came with the purchase was Hi-Fi Rush.
Krafton? Great. Another studio about to be thrown into the PUBG & New State mines.
Krafton seems to be attempting to diversify with this purchase and also the purchase of Unknown Worlds. We'll see how many enshittification mandates they force on their studios when Subnautica 2 hits early access this year (it's already confirmed to have online multiplayer so eyebrows are raised)
Krafton did say they wanted a Hi-Fi Rush 2, as far as I know.
Say about them what you will, but good on them for stepping in and preventing Microsoft from shutting the studio down.
