I threw my back out putting on a button up shirt once. I wasn't even old yet.

When I turned 30, I sneezed and felt a pop on my back and my right leg went pins and needles until I got back surgery. That ended up being a fairly expensive sneeze.

Sounds like a fairly typical US story (as seen from abroad).

As in "I was 25, I felt great, I bent to pick up (some shit) and felt some shit and woke up in the ER, and they billed me (GNP of some random continent) and then I died, and my house was seized, and the police shot my family.

EU version: Those fuckers are asking me for 30€ for the 5 days I stayed in the hospital after the 20 people came to my home, the ambulance took me there, the 8 hour intervention...

But they wouldn't answer me when I pressed that button, even after I pressed it 70 times (I counted), because I hated that desert they gave me. Anyway I'm going to fuck them up.

Yay! Early retirement at 40! ... but I fought a Grand Cherokee and a Montero on a bicycle and sent both to the crusher... I hear what one might call rhythm and grind from taking a deep breath, coughing, or sneezing, and cannot turn my head hard left. Apparently my spinal xrays look like I'm in my 80's as I've had a tech randomly come verify there was not a mix up and tell me so.

Turns out they don't actually check if you're retired. You can just join.

My most embarrassing one was throwing my back out yawning. It was a hell of a yawn.

Hell those twits looked me up before I hit 50.
