Good. Fuck em. They’ve been killing us for years by promoting an unhealthy lifestyle as cool and normal.

Also, these days there’s lots of local options of way better quality.

Maybe because it's extremely expensive and also, you know, literally poison.

I have seen more than enough lives around me get ruined by alcohol that I have zero interest in ever taking a sip of it.

That's basically the attitude that the Mennonites have. I am not a mennonite, but I have been involved with many of them.

As I understand it, the view is that alcohol is not evil in itself, but the social damage that it does far outweighs any benefits. It just makes sense for the society not to have alcohol in it.

Fuck alcohol. Disgusting hard drug, peddled by large corps the state, into every remote community...

I've got 'em covered. I'm slowly killing my liver and life with their toxins.

Don’t worry too much. The next four years are probably going to drive a lot of us in the US to drink. It will more than make up for market losses in Canada and elsewhere.

I enjoy a drink or two each month, but I am not going shed a tear about a corporation not seeing exponential growth/profits year after year.

The whole business model of "sustained growth" is flawed IMO. We need better metrics

I like craft beer IPAs, but yeah my wallet and my health can't afford 50 drinks a year or more as if it's a routine. 2 (Canadian) pints often gives me a headache at some point later. So the beer and the wine is left for special occasions like holiday get-togethers.

Something about IPAs, they are fun drink but they are not really mean to be drunk for buzz imho

Is there a transcript for those who can not hear audio?
