Disagree. Yelling during the address just comes off like Marjorie Taylor Greene or that idiot Republican who yelled “you lie!” one year. I would much rather the dems have gotten up and left one by one. Or simply not have shown up at all.

Of course the dems voting to censure him shouldn’t have happened either.

Get ready. If the “school voucher” plan passes, you’re going to see a lot more of this.

On the one hand he’s finally telling people to get vaccinated. On the other hand he’s telling people to treat measles with cod liver oil.

This is the future that republicans want. They’re going to privatize your schools so the rich can grift you into paying for administrator salaries and can make profit from public education.

Do people still sue for libel in the US?

Someone should explain to this CFO the difference between quality and quantity.

Oh good. Maybe it will collapse and I will stop getting fundraising texts from them every damned day.

Ewww. Like grilling food over burning human waste.

Seems like a poor design decision. The portables can be charged from either MagSafe or USB-C. You would think this would use similar circuitry where one power input would be ignored while the other was connected.

Clippy! Now with AI.

Thought this was interesting. You’d think fare payments would be a solved problem, but somehow Siemens managed to screw it up.

Hey Mr Heat Miser (self.severance)

The claymation video was probably the best part of the first episode. The Rankin Bass nod was fantastic.

For those of you that aren’t old enough to catch it…

“Hilariously, the video (which is narrated by Lumon's literal office building) doubles as a claymation recap of season 1—right down to a not-on-my-Severance-bingo-card reference to the Heat Miser in The Year Without a Santa Claus.”

Going in circles (self.severance)

I think this show is making the same mistake as “Stranger Things” by just stretching the same characters and story across five seasons. The first season was perfect. I’d rather see a new storyline in season two with new characters and a time jump. The season one characters have had their story already told.

Also casting directors please stop casting the same people over and over. Here comes Alia Shawkat fresh off her 20 episode stint on “The Old Man”. Next thing you know, Pedro Pascal is going to pop up on Severance too. One of the nice things about Severance is all the actors I hadn’t seen before or seen in a long time (Bob Balaban!).

Between AI, voice cloning, and modern CGI I’m surprised we haven’t gotten a real computer-generated talk show host.

Your drinking water is being ruined so cryptobros and AI can run on nuclear power.

I keep hearing I should get a flu shot to help prevent bird flu — but I thought flu shots only prevented illness from the particular strains the shot was designed for. Does getting a traditional flu shot do anything to prevent bird flu transmission?

[SPOILERS]

So far I’m kind of disappointed that they are showing what’s going on in the first Silo. Makes it feel like we are going in circles.

I wish they had edited it so we see Juliet’s adventure until she finally leaves to return to the original silo. Then do an episode of catch up as to what has been happening there. Then her arrival.

Honestly I was far more interested in what’s happening outside the Silo and the mystery, and not rehashing the characters from the first season other than Juliet.

If you’ve read the books — are they following the story pretty closely?

What a waste of money.
