Worth every penny. One of the few good Star Wars shows.

Scraping the bottom of the barrel for their “stars.” 😆

It fascinates me that actors can be so hard up for work that they would take a gig like this. Aren’t they worried that it will prevent them from getting additional work going forward? Wouldn’t waiting tables be a safer bet?

Don’t kid yourself. Americans just elected Trump — do you really think those same people are going to pass the ERA?

Looks work-related. Your average person isn’t going to install “Authenticator” for fun.

What’s the difference between Haul and the rest of the cheap junk sold on Amazon?

What if corporations weren’t allowed to fund politicians to begin with? Corporations can’t vote, so why do they get such influence? This kind of funding should come out of voters pockets, not corporate cash that belongs to employees and shareholders.

Sounds like something put together to distract from someone else.

My favorite part is where they point out they are hiring out posts on Reddit:

“We are crushing it on Reddit,” Mr. Wallace told Ms. Nathan, according to a text she sent Ms. Abel on Aug. 9.

Why does he need to drink a concoction of deadly microbes? Is he trying to be a “super spreader”?

Oh no. Someone used a swear word. Let me clutch my pearls. Front page news!

Guardian burying the lede here — Macron insulted some of France’s poorest people in one of their territories during a natural disaster.

“If it wasn’t for France, you’d be 10,000 times deeper in shit.”

That’s the real story. Not that he “swore”.

[SPOILERS]

So far I’m kind of disappointed that they are showing what’s going on in the first Silo. Makes it feel like we are going in circles.

I wish they had edited it so we see Juliet’s adventure until she finally leaves to return to the original silo. Then do an episode of catch up as to what has been happening there. Then her arrival.

Honestly I was far more interested in what’s happening outside the Silo and the mystery, and not rehashing the characters from the first season other than Juliet.

If you’ve read the books — are they following the story pretty closely?

What a waste of money.

Is there a setting somewhere in Plex or on the server so that some songs don’t play loud and others so soft? Thanks in advance.

This is just greenwashing the original plan to add another natural gas power plant. What a scam. “Oh it could eventually run on hydrogen too. In five years. Maybe?”

This project is such a waste of money.

Are there any good iOS apps for rating songs while they play in Plex on the TV? I can’t find a way to rate songs using an AppleTV and its remote.

I did try the Plex app on the phone, but you have to leave it as the frontmost app or it will disconnect by the next time you open it (app flushes/sleeps). If it doesn’t disconnect then instead you get a mismatch of what’s playing and what can be rated (album art/track name/rating pane don’t match). There’s also no widgets from the app to do this from on iOS.

Or is there a web app I can run on the server and connect to from the phone’s web browser to rate items as they play?

Isaiah Bradley’s backstory (self.marvelstudios)
submitted 1 month ago by reddig33 to c/marvelstudios

Finally got around to watching “Falcon and The Winter Soldier” and it would have been so much better if Isaiah Bradley’s story had been the first episode, or a stand-alone movie. Instead it’s just told in exposition. If you go read his backstory, it is a pillar of the F&WS plot. Disappointing that an interesting chapter of this universe is confusingly meted out in bits and pieces across episodes. Here’s hoping his “prequel” eventually gets told.

As an aside — am I really supposed to believe Falcon doesn’t get paid the big bucks and can’t afford to pay to fix up his sister’s boat?
