On Thursday, the House passed a bill that would allow the president to wipe out any nonprofit organizations he opposes with the flick of a pen. He had bipartisan support.

So republicans running as democrats to snag people who toe the party line. Damn, wish we could get some people to pretend to be fucking insane and then flip left

[–] spankmonkey 29 points 1 month ago (1 children)

No, Dems just love to play the center and vote for this kind of bullshit all the fucking time.

As a group they are not as terrible as Republicans, but they voted overwhelmingly for the Patriot Act and mot other shitty legislation too.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 month ago

Well, everyone wants control. The patriot act was a wet dream for all of them.

How are these people Republicans running as Democrats? All of those districts that I know have had Republican challengers fielded.

Well we do have quite a few Democrats now claiming the 2024 election was hacked. Give it 8 years and the crazy Republicans today might look pretty tame after Democrats continue moving to the right.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Which democrats are claiming it was hacked? Just random people? I haven’t heard anything.

[–] Serinus 2 points 1 month ago

There was one who told a plausible story. Spoonamore? But as soon as you try to verify the number claim, it turns out to be bogus.

Here is the latest post saying the same thing:

I gotta give c/politics that they removed the previous post, but before they did it had approx. 200 upvotes or more and what appeared to be a majority of users claiming Trump won cause he hacked the elections.

Here is a link to the post that got removed:

Not sure if there is someway to still view all the comments, but you're in for a wild ride if you can.

So just random people? There’s not much point thinking about it. Nothing will happen. And, that energy is better spent thinking about your exit strategy.

What an unsurprising list.

[–] Nastybutler 5 points 1 month ago

Moskowitz surprised me.

Sure. Standout names on the list for me are Henry Cuellar, a corrupt anti-choice NRA stooge that the party propped up when he was primaried by a progressive, and Debbie Wasserman Schultz, head of the DNC during the 2016 Clinton campaign.

The sort of people who fight progressives and not Republicans.

[–] freshcow 4 points 1 month ago

Couldn't agree more. When push comes to shove, the democratic establishment will prioritize defeating the left above all else.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago

I voted for you, Allred, you bastard. I hope Texas does secede, we need a serious fucking spanking. I'm so sorry for all the shit my state kicks up.

"Democrats pass Enabling Act in lame-duck session before a peaceful transfer of power to Adolf Hitler."

🤦‍♂️

[–] TokenBoomer 12 points 1 month ago (1 children)

And they’ll still be on on his list.

[–] FuglyDuck 4 points 1 month ago

In the DNC a non profit?

[–] [email protected] 19 points 1 month ago

Debbie Wasserman Schultz has been gutting US democracy from the inside for decades

[–] Sweetpeaches69 12 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Do churches next you fucking cowards.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 month ago

Darn, I wish they split it into multiple questions and only passed the part about Americans imprisoned abroad not needing to pay extravagant interest for not paying taxes. I hate it when lawmakers take the basic needs of hostages hostage for Trump's political gains.

[–] timewarp 10 points 1 month ago

I remember when a Democrat canvasser showed up at my door asking me to vote for Marie Gluesenkamp Perez. Lol, these blue no matter who people are just asking for Republicans in disguise.

[–] iAvicenna 8 points 1 month ago

They are just demonstrating that they are bending the knee before the transition as that is the kind of presidency Trump will be running with his team of grifters.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 month ago

We are doomed ☠️

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Voted blue no matter who so hard they got blue republicrats.
