Played in a creek. Didn't take shoes off. Was awesome, can recommend.

As long as no socks are involved you're good.
Socks in sandals is an almost keelhaulable offense.
You just condemned every single German dad to an almost keelhauling
Aesthetics here are chef's kiss
I'd call those sandals. Where I'm from you'd definitely want to take off your shoes lol
I love the mosses you have! And that looks like such a refreshing dip
Those shoes are gonna be slippery, wet and soggy the whole way back
Actually not. They quickly dried, took about 5-10 minutes while walking. Sure a little bit slippery at first but somehow that soon turned into even better (sticky) grip.
Surprise! The creek is full of blood sucking leeches!
blood sucking leeches versus privacy sucking websites …
Tbh, I prefer websites
Your blood will replenish itself, but your privacy will be gone forever
There is no unlock origin for real life
And netflix are gonna make a series about ya
NGL I'd prefer that to Netflix
Also I prefer the flowers to the pistol.
Exactly
It feels the right kind of welcoming with the flowers that's for sure
this took me longer than I'd like to admit
Oh ...I hate it.
Can we look for bugs in the creek, OP
Of course
Hooray!
OK but we're holding hands then!
😔
My grandfather owned a farmhouse out in Nebraska, and we'd go out to the "crick" and wade around in leech infested waters and get bit by mosquitos until sundown. Then we'd pick ticks off the farm dog and dread going to the bathroom because he had a rule "if it's yellow let it mellow, if it's brown flush it down"
He also ran a nudist colony in the desert in California during the winter months. Interesting man.
Crick is plenty cromulent, there's no need for the quotes
I'm gonna put "quotes" wherever I "damn" well please
You're not my "real" dad
Crick is up here in Maryland too
Where in Maryland if you don't mind me asking? The western parts it makes sense due to west virginia infection but I imagine the further east you get the less crick you get.
I'm FROM northern center and western Maryland. I'm on the Eastern shore now.
"we're gonna play in the creek"
I've heard worse euphemisms for sex.
going down to the creek to dip my toes in
creek is full of industrial runoff from the giant factory upstream
walk upstream to see the factory
How Memphis became a battleground over Elon Musk’s xAI supercomputer
xAI’s central focus is a tool called Grok. It’s an AI chatbot, similar to ChatGPT, that the company flaunts as “having a sense of humor.” Musk has called it the “most fun AI in the world.” It has fewer rules than other AI chatbots and has been known for creating controversial deepfake images, such as Mickey Mouse as a Nazi and Kamala Harris in lingerie.
The primary purpose of the Memphis supercomputer is to provide compute power for Grok.

The cancer rate in South Memphis is four times higher than the national average, according to a ProPublica report. And a 2020 University of Memphis study found the life expectancy here is 10 years lower than other parts of the city. South Memphis also has elevated asthma rates, and the American Lung Association gave it a failing grade for air quality. Experts say this is largely due to the neighborhood’s proximity to Memphis’ industrial zone.
Relatable.
No thanks I don't want to get my socks wet.
Just put plastic bags over them.
Have fun. The water isn't supposed to be that color or smell by the way. Notice nothing lives in that water either. Even Beau miles won't kayak it. You do you though.
Are you sure the colour isn't just the reflection of the green in the forest?
Looks pretty normal to me for forest stream. The bed of a slow moving stream is typically gonna be pretty dark color, and there is nothing bright around to reflect off the surface
I'm more commenting on where I live. It's common knowledge not to play in the lakes or waterways here.
I'm immunocompromised, no thanks.
You will take your necrosis and you will like it.
what happened to the gun? We're not armed anymore? Are we sure this is a bearless environment?
~~or are there just no men in this forest? Sorry i had to make the joke~~
Someone dressed like that would never go outside
That is precisely how people spending too long in the creek would look like. "Outside" is not just "urban places", is it? :|
The big eyes though? Well, about that...
