Where did the idea of slipping on banana peels even come from?
Everett True Comics
A place to appreciate the twentieth century comic character Everett True of "The Outbursts of Everett True." Feel free to check out the sticky.
You ever step on one?
I set one up and pretended to slip on it as a joke, well, until my foot hit it and my head was instantly on the ground.
Turned out WAY funnier than what I had planned.
my head was instantly on the ground
Next time tuck your chin. Also, slap the ground instead of trying to catch yourself. Couple times a week, practice a couple of these, until they become second nature:
No joke, everyone should learn to fall.
I learned so much from this, dang.
I tried it a few times as a kid and nobody found it slippery.
🤷🏻♂️ Must have got a bad banana.
I’ve read that it’s a visual euphemism for slipping on horseshit.
This dude looks so happy!
Pocket full of bananas, potassium for days, unbothered just living his dream.
He's rested, hydrated and glowing.
Why are these SOOOO good???
For the same reason that Donald Duck is so much cooler than Mickey Mouse.
.......but Everett IS wearing pants!
Wait till you see what he does to the guy throwing red shells!
Hah! Come to think of it, Everett has that “blue shell” vibe. Coming out of nowhere to absolutely flatten someone
Littering, man. Litterers make me Everett.
Yeah but at least it's biodegradable. I'd rather see people do stuff like that than see people throwing plastic bags and bottles and whatnot.
That quote sounds like a translated subtitle from a Hong Kong kickflick.
