I still can't fucking believe that this verbally incontinent, senile, silver-spoon-deep-throating, walrus-looking, absolute shitbag is the guy we're fucking up the entire system and body of law to protect, and 50% of the nation is seeing all of this and thinking, "yep, that's my president." It's fucking incredible that a Burger King can operate with our per capita of knuckle-draggers, let alone a country.

It’s really an antisocial thing. They want the world in flames so that their own pain burns away.

[–] vanontom 8 points 3 months ago

I also think the root is pain, misery, trauma. They choose to hide it, but most importantly blame it on everyone but themselves. They choose the cult to be surrounded by enablers. No need for them to face the truth anymore.

There is a person down the street flying a Trump flag.

I hope they get pancreatic cancer. I hope all Trump voters get pancreatic cancer. If they did I might join a religion because it would be a sign of a benevolent god existing.

[–] [email protected] 13 points 3 months ago

I don't know. I'm not sure that benevolence would include killing people for being stupid and wrong.

I feel that a benevolent god, instead, would ensure that stupid and wrong people were rare, and didn't harm society with their stupidity.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 3 months ago

Why do you think they got rid of the salad bar?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 3 months ago (1 children)

It seems that many humans place worshipping someone who has power and status over making the lives of themselves and others better.

[–] barsquid 1 points 3 months ago

As long as that person will harm the groups they are bigoted against.

I wouldn't overthink this one... Trump's "dog whistles" are usually more of an air-raid-siren. Any shred of nuance or subtlety is most likely accidental.

In this case, I strongly doubt there's some deep meaning behind it - he's just being an asshole by deliberately mispronouncing her name.

[–] [email protected] 27 points 3 months ago

He can't come up with a nickname for her, so this is the best he has. Literally his other option is "Laughing Kamala"

[–] Nobody 12 points 3 months ago

Exactly. If he had real trouble with the name, the misspelling would vary. It’s just standard racism.

[–] jeffw 5 points 3 months ago

My assumption was always the “afterthought” of this article: he’s trying to force the word “black” into her name.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 3 months ago (1 children)

My thoughts were he's combing with the star wars senator amadalla or whoever it is I'm thinking of

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

Or the tiktok sound where they're like 'senator blah, chief commisioner blah, vice president blah!' but I can't remember enough about it to find it.

[–] [email protected] 56 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Sounds like a kindergarden bully thing to me

[–] [email protected] 23 points 3 months ago (1 children)

He did proudly say he's as mature as a 10 year old.

[–] andallthat 7 points 3 months ago

like sending Vance literally following her around?

[–] [email protected] 53 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I read a suggestion that he's combining Kamala and Obama because he's a dumb ass racist and that theory actually kind of tracks.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 3 months ago (2 children)

Sounds kinda dumb to me. Let's link her to one of the most popular politicians in recent history, that'll hurt her.

I have heard another idea, that it's a reference to the "blah people" meme. Which make sense, given that it's also racist. But honestly, who fucking cares? It's a demented weird asshole doing demented weird asshole things. I honestly can't wait until the day we no longer have to wake up to legions of Trump Whisperers trying to figure out what he "really meant" by whatever insane drivel spewed from his mouth.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I heard someone use the concept of egregores to analyse the way Trump's campaign works.

Trump, the mortal human man, is a blabbering incoherent fool. But there exists an idea of Trump in the minds of his various worshippers that is imbued with power by their belief. When Trump babbles, the egregore in the minds of the worshippers borrows their brainpower to produce various interpretations of what he says, with the most appealing fiction surviving. In this way, an organism made of thoughts in the minds of thousands of followers uses the processing power of those followers to produce rhetoric far beyond what the mortal man is capable of.

Another word for an egregore is a god. They are the central figures of religions. Trump has become a god through the worship of his many followers. What we are seeing is the power of worship the transform the incoherent words of a man into the gospel of a beloved prophet. We are witnessing in real time an ascent to divinity. And to be specific, an apotheosis into an evil, vengeful god.

Sounds like something out of Unknown Armies. Recommend checking it out if you like modern day occult and roleplaying games. (I only know 2nd edition but there is a third edition)

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

If you think about it from the perspective of someone who grew up with blatantly racist caricatures, "Kamabla" makes more sense as an insult.

[–] [email protected] 33 points 3 months ago

He might genuinely just be too stupid to remember it or say it correctly.

[–] [email protected] 32 points 3 months ago
[–] ObviouslyNotBanana 27 points 3 months ago

That's just plain weird

[–] [email protected] 25 points 3 months ago

This is so lame. It's all he's got. It's just weird.

[–] GaMEChld 24 points 3 months ago (2 children)

You guys are reading way too much into it. He thinks he's saying her same correctly. He's a demented old man. You hear the shit this guy has been saying? Hannibal Lecter? Shark Lightning? Rapidoo?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago
[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

Rapidoo?

Hey, leave John Cena out of this.

[–] cobysev 23 points 3 months ago (1 children)

My guess is he's trying to say "Kama-BLAH" as an insult. But no one's picking up on it.

[–] NegativeInf 3 points 3 months ago

Hm. I was thinking something more like "Ka-Mob-la" so it's a dog whistle for racism based crime tropes.

[–] [email protected] 18 points 3 months ago (1 children)

My guess is a typo which neither he, his sycophants, or his cult could ever bring themselves to admit, so they'll just keep running with it and pretending it means something (a la "covfefe").

[–] [email protected] 10 points 3 months ago

It’s probably assumed it’s his rapid cognitive decline.

His supporters:

“Oh that’s just his syphilis/dementia/dry mouth from methamphetamines…”

[–] twistypencil 12 points 3 months ago

Finding meaning in insane people is insane

[–] [email protected] 11 points 3 months ago (1 children)

My guess is he's illiterate and thinks that's her real name

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

I think he mispronounced it once and was made fun of for it, so now he is doubling down to try and convince people he did it on purpose as some sort of 4D chess insult no one but smart trump can understand.

[–] Yawweee877h444 9 points 3 months ago

My guess is a take on "bla bla bla" Kamabla, to be condescending and bullying. Just a guess.

If so, it's obviously very childish, which is right in tune with everything trump and the GOP.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 3 months ago

Just go away you weirdo.

[–] Hobbes_Dent 7 points 3 months ago

Bully doing bully things.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago

He's literally just saying that he thinks she's "blah". Don't think too hard on this one.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 months ago

Kama-blah, as in, "blah, blah, blah," perhaps?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 3 months ago
[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 months ago

I assume he is simply being a dick but he won't admit to that. The alternatives are he is either going deaf and can't read or his memory is so bad that he can't remember someone's name that he has heard a million times. Both of those options should disqualify him for presidency.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 months ago

It could be a childish insult and internally he's thinking "oh boy, I showed her!"

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 months ago

With such genius gems as "bigrant crime" he's probably trying to smash "black" onto her name after the whole "she suddenly became black" horseshit

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

He probably doesn’t remember what it means. He only has a dull recollection that it was hurtful/insulting/“funny”, so sticks with it.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

What the fuck is that weirdass Donbald talking about now?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

If he wasn't senile, I might think that he's assuming that his pronunciation "sounds Indian", and is thus just a continuation of his fuckwitted assertion that she "turned Black" (from Indian). But he IS senile, and I can't credit him with being able to string together an insult (that she's lied about her racial heritage) even as simple-minded as that.

[–] SeattleRain 0 points 3 months ago

It's foreign sounding you see.
