It's a shame this clown is taken so seriously. I really wish Musk would just stop being so fucking vocal about everything he has no fucking clue about..

Is he taken seriously? Most of the stuff he says is ridiculed.

But it is published and spread. That's the part that is truly damaging

He still has a substantial amount of sheep behind him unfortunately.

Far-right activists from Argentina praise everything he says. The current president constantly talks about him like some sort of deity. It's sickening.

Beware the echo chamber.

My entire family and social group pays more attention to him than our prime minister. They get notifications on their phones anytime he tweets. When he tweets, all their phones light up and they drop everything they’re doing to check it and read it out loud/discuss it. I hate it.

I’m the only one around that I know of that doesn’t do this and it’s gotten me the nickname of “musk hater” simply because I don’t do that.

countries just need to grow a spine and ban twitter from operating in their countries.

the bbc has a mastodon instance, this article is coming from the bbc.

The BBC is partly at fault for continuously giving people like Farage a platform.

I think channel 4 did better, also from tldr news apparently farage denounced the riot's, so he's not clinically insane.

edit: comma

They do. And I hope they commit to it. It's currently in a trial period and they don't do a lot on there.

Elon Musk, who said in a post on X, formerly Twitter, that "civil war is inevitable" following unrest in the UK.

That's a very idiotic thing to say. He has no idea what the UK is like.

[–] [email protected] 32 points 4 months ago

Being profoundly ignorant on a topic has never stopped him from tweeting about it.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 4 months ago

He has no idea what anything is like.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

Not to mention that Elon's side (fascism) would certainly lose. Just like WW2, South Africa, USA Civil War, etc.

It's actually good for humanity when people like Elon lose.

and then it'll be "eat the rich" time, and Musk is on the top of the menu.

UK should not let him into the country ever again
