Am I the only one who refuses to click on videos with clickbait thumbnails, even if it's the exact thing I am looking for? I find those stupid fucking expressions so aggravating I can't bring myself to click on them.

Pretty much yeah, or rather your in the minority. Clickbait exists because it's unreasonably effective. There have been multiple videos detailing this with real world channels

I think that'll be a common opinion here

Not on YouTube, which is why those thumbnails work there

Awhile looks weird to me for some reason but I know it’s totally a word lol

I think it is being used incorrectly here, it should probably be underperforming awhile or underperforming for a while

It is wrong there. “Awhile” is an adverb. “A while” is an amount of time. You’d write “awhile underperforming”.

I imagine there was a time that it wasn't

Engagement is already up, the "improvements" are clearly working.

Huh. That's strange, when I reloaded the page, there was an entirely different set of comments. Anyone know why? Lemmy shenanigans?

A wizard did it

Maybe one was loaded from shitjustworks and the other from ttrpgnetwork? Idk why your client would do that though
