If a teacher ever asked you to make your own interpretation and meaning from out of context art, that's what this is.
If I were to make an interpretation:
The creator feels lost, without its other half, and unable to fulfill its life's purpose. Looking for a signal from above to tell it what to do but finding nothing. Down in the dirt, it is disheveled and lonely.
