How does this not prompt a special election?!

There is nothing about parties in the US constitution, and I doubt Georgia has anything either. You elect people not a party. As such it would be a surprise if this did trigger any election outside the normal cycle.

It’s still early. I’m hoping to see one.

Living the Centrist Democrat dream.

Black Democrats are surprisingly conservative, culturally. They just can't be Republicans because of how overwhelmingly, cartoonishly racist the Republicans are.

Which is so fucking stupid:

  • Party A is not quite conservative enough for you.

  • Party B is still mad they were forced to kick you off their plantations.

Gee, who to support?

Even if her statements are true and she didn't mean to do this from the beginning, why the actual fuck would she think that a black woman would get any more respect? Dems might be limiting her assignments but they're probably not saying the n word behind her back like Republicans do.

Just like the Founding Fathers intended… whoops not in the Constitution, can’t do this. 🫠

On the one hand, I can understand her anger at the party. I personally disagree with her stances, but I can't hate on someone for not wanting to associate with a party that advertises a blank check while saying "all this needs is a primary challenger."

On the other hand... How the fuck can the GOP leadership say welcome her by saying they're a party "where diversity of opinion is welcome" with a straight face?!?!
