Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd could be more fitting. But i think only Germans can understand it.

Just rename the Aldi Nord faction Trader Joe's and the Aldi Sud faction Aldi, and the Americans will get it too.

Not possible, OpenFortress tried and is forced by Valve to keep it proprietary.

Make it different enough. They can't sue, unless they have patented the Team Fortress formula.

That's because it's built off of source and uses valve assets. A clone in godot would be in the clear. Problem is that it has to be built from the ground up, so it's lots more effort to make.
