Fun fact: This is the deadliest lizard on planet earth. Rather than just poison, this species' deadliness is solely attributed to it being found in Australia.

I saw a few that walk. I took a step down to get the photo and was reluctant to step closer as it appeared to be getting its back up and looking for a fight. I wasn't going to press the issue as i just saw a baby water dragons close by.
Please be very careful taking beautiful photos like these in Australia. Specifically, watch out for all of the Australia around you.
They're super skiddish, but pretty chill otherwise. As a kid I used to feed them roast chicken by hand in my backyard.
Skiddish? They slide around?

i consider a lot of scaly land creatures lizards like lots of people consider random insects/arachnids/etc. bugs. forgive me if i am mistaken, for i am unfortunately not a herpetologist...yet?
Thanks, i just cross posted it there. I checked their rules and they do have some exceptions. I dont know whether the Water Dragons are considered lizards, and im not an expert but i have posted several images to birding after someone else suggested there too.
I did a quick look on wikipedia and I think it should check out! I'm always happy to see some fun lizards and reptiles, so thanks for sharing!
Yeah I think Lemmy is still in the early stages and hope people are open to bending some rules. I have a photo os some Tawny Frogmouths that I might ask to post to Superbowl even though they're not owls.
The one mod is more particular than the other on Superbowl. Just make your main image an owl and you should be good though. I've posted some other raptors and a few misc animals when I go tour animal rescues.
There's always the Birding community too, though it's a little less active than Superbowl, but still gets good traffic.
Ive put a few to birding before , they've helped when i didn't know what some birds were. I think i'll go there first.
Looks like Joanna from Rescuers: Down Under.
Crazy claws on that thing.
