Cultural appropriation huh

  1. I said either side resulted in genocide, and the R's would be worse, but I'm guessing you are reactionary without reading my comment... Nice strawman though.

  2. I'm not American, and I would've voted for the lesser of two evils if I were, so you're preaching to the choir. I'm just a messenger.

But do continue complaining about the left and proving that you've learned nothing, because that's worked out well for you so far. The proof is in the fascist dictatorship!

modernizing federal IT

This also might be how they permanently compromise the FEC and voting machines for future elections; considering Trump already mentioned Elon helped with "those vote counting computers".

Just "corporate dictatorship masquerading as democracy" things.

Wonder if he's still smirking and shrugging.

Either way he'll still blame "the left". I guarantee it.

Why they moved it inside

Just the inevitable transition from the corporate oligarchy of late stage capitalism, to state-capitalist fascist dictatorship.

The same dystopian enshittification is going on pretty much everywhere, you just aren't aware of it yet.

See this thread for why D's will never learn, and do not deserve to govern. Still blaming everyone they failed to motivate.

"You should have accepted the continuation of the slow D genocide. Now you'll get the extra double R genocide, and it's all your fault!"

This is why progressives abstained; to let Trump destroy the corporate-whore duopoly and charade of "democracy" in America. It wasn't under some fantasy that R's would be better for Gaza, America, or the planet. It was because the D's are captured by the corporate oligarchy — thus will never offer meaningful change — and spent the last few decades helping the R's sow the seeds for fascism, building the surveillance state and MIC, destroying the financial and housing security of the working class, etc.

Eventually some victims will stop accepting the abuse, and lash out at their abusers; even if it means much worse abuse or death.

Everyone has their vices. I replaced fb with reddit over a decade ago. Never bothered with the rest of sm because it was mostly acquaintances posting boring shit and I had group chats with friends.

Now I've replaced 99% of my reddit usage with lemmy / hackernews, and lost half my friends due to the fascist propaganda sphere (anti-vaxer/sjw/trans dumb shit). It'd be really hard to abandon them entirely because I avoid most MSM (due to the overt corporate propaganda / censorship) and curating an rss feed is a-lot more effort. Dropping everything would result in becoming completely ignorant of the world.

Revolutions are actually more like a powderkeg. Once a significant proportion of the population become apathetic and angry, all it takes is a spark to ignite it. This has repeated many times throughout history. Most recently in Syria, where a decade of civil war deadlock completely evaporated in a few months.

What we need is a relatively small number people like this https://youtube.com/watch?v=V74AxCqOTvg

First comment removed from asklemmy thread about who's good/bad re Israel/Palestine is apparently too nuanced and anti-extremist for snowflake dessalines. Ya gotta fuel the hate and extremism if ya wanna comment round tankie parts...

The linux ban was regarding a comment (pretty sure the OG comment was different) about Russian maintainers being removed from the linux project. Obviously you can't call out capitalist Putin's authoritarian dictatorship in the communist sub, because ML mods are pro-authoritarian and pro-dictatorship; not anti-capitalist... At this point I'm convinced most "tankies" are just PsyOps operatives.

I can't figure out how to view my own reply comment anymore, but a /Ukraine user commented this insanity and I called them out — that cornering a sociopathic nuclear armed dictator is recklessly stupid, and exactly what will trigger a nuclear war — and got massively downvoted for "enabling Russia". 90% of the user base agreed with "conquering" Russia, and thought previous mini incursions across the border are equivalent; proving that nukes are a forever bluff.

The best part? After inspecting several of the mods and users comment histories I realized all seem to have nothing to do with Ukraine whatsoever, and appear to be young pro-war machine North American jarheads (or keyboard warrior wannabes), who sub to or mod numerous other military related communities.

Thus, conservatism and neoliberalism are, in reality, the radical agenda...
