- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. No matter how much Democrats move to the right, Republicans would still rather vote for Republicans.
But the alternative involves moving to the left and Democrats don't wanna.
There's no money in it.
They would have to get by on a measly 250k a year with healthcare for life if they couldn't just openly and publicly accept bribes. Like paupers they'd be.
If Republican Voters weren't horrible people literally voting in favor of their Daughter's Rapist over their own Daughter this headline wouldn't be a thing!
have you maybe considered that the information they have been fed differs from your own?? they are not horrible people, they have just been the recipients of propaganda for generations
Remember when Republicans were commenting on the RAPED 10 YEAR OLD GIRL WHO COULDN'T RECEIVE A LIFESAVING ABORTION AND HAD TO FLEE HER STATE and then voted Republican again in the Midterms?
This is the best summary I could come up with:
Democratic Sen. Jon Tester is seeking reelection for a fourth term in Montana, a state President Biden isn't expected to win in the general election.
Last quarter, Tester outraised his GOP opponent Tim Sheehy, according to Federal Election Commission filings released Wednesday, raising $5.5 million.
"Republicans have landed a very formidable challenger against Tester in Tim Sheehy, but there still is a potential primary looming if Congressman Matt Rosendale gets in," said Jessica Taylor, the Senate and Governors editor for Cook Political Report, a nonpartisan election tracker.
He has not ruled out a Senate bid, but Sen. Steve Daines, chair of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, who has endorsed Sheehy, is encouraging Rosendale to seek reelection to Congress instead.
Baldwin doesn't have a serious challenger yet but businessman Eric Hovde is expected to jump in the race and has the support of the Senate GOP campaign arm.
Third-term Democratic Sen. Bob Casey will likely face off against Republican businessman Dave McCormick, the former CEO of the Bridgewater Associates investment firm and a veteran who ran for Senate in 2022 and lost in the primary against Mehmet Oz.
