Yep, its accurate and also trump is gonna provide Clarence a gift, of a trip to on his yacht or a bunch of money. Clarence Thomas loves to get gifts that will not at all influence his decision, as if he is very much not at all corrupt.
I'm unsure if you realize who Trump is. There are no gifts, or yachts or cash, just empty promises.
Thomas responded by not even making the effort to raise his middle finger.

That sounds just a tad more resolute than a "suggestion."
It cannot be more than a suggestion, because short of impeachment, the SCOTUS justices are the only people who can decide whether to recuse themselves.
