I'm over 40 and I couldn't figure out what a rocky montage was until I read your comment. now I remember what a rocky montage is. can never forget him running up the stairs, that inspirational motivational music dubbed over

Yeah, I guess running up the stairs makes the difference between a simple training montage and a Rocky montage.

Also called a gonna fly now montage. Both Rocky and The Karate Kid had flight theme elements.
