Perkele is a name of Ukko... Tired of hearing this one 😴 It's simply loaned from Perkunas as a swear word in the first place.

I’m guessing anyone who speaks Finnish would know what they mean. (I googled all the non-English words and very vaguely get it. But I’m sure there’s cultural or language stuff that’s just going wooosh.)

5.4 million people speak Finnish. 9.3 million people live in New Jersey. You could reference a specific gas station at a rest stop on the Garden State parkway, and more people would understand the reference than people who knew what they meant.
