Congrats, welcome to the mod team. I leave the community in your hands :)
Thank you!
Do I need to make a separate account to moderate a community on a different instance? This account is on Lemmy.world
I just sent a new report through for your post saying "test report". That should appear soon in the shield icon notifications at the top of the page
I didn't get it. I also don't see 196 in my mod list on my profile. Are you sure you added me?
You're showing as a mod on my end. I wonder if it's a version issue? We haven't upgraded to 17.3 or 17.4 yet.
Maybe?? I'm only showing up as a mod on the homepage of 196 on the blahaj.lemmy instance. Everywhere else, I don't show up as a mod
I'll poke @[email protected] and see if we can upgrade to the lemmy RC sometime this weekend, and hopefully that will resolve it.
Lol thank you. 😅😅😅 Sorry to have turned out to be much more of a headache than I intended
Not your fault! There's something weird going on there on our end.
Appreciate it.
Done!
If you want to make an account in Blahaj lemmy until we get the moderation federation sorted out, you're welcome to do so
Hello this is my new alt for the time being
Confirming this is me
Oh awesome if this doesn't magically fix itself in the next 10 minutes I'll fill out the application.
Nope, you should be able to moderate across instances just fine.
You'll have a shield icon on the top of your screen where report notifications will appear, though you likely won't see old reports. You'll get new ones from this point on though.
You should also be able to see historical actions in the modlog link on the right info panel for the community. You should see new options under the 3 dot menu for users in the sub, as well as (hopefully) having an edit link for the the community itself at the top right of the information panel for the community
Got it. I'm familiar with the moderation system, 195's given me a bit of practice
