Time to follow them around with loudspeakers while also open carrying.

Cut their tire stems if you get the chance too

[–] [email protected] 28 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Totally unrelated side note, but apparently the simple act of snapping off a strike-anywhere match head between the stem's pin & collar (don't screw the cap back on fully, to be sure) enables an impressively efficient leak to all affected tires that can easily go unnoticed until they're all flat. Additionally, if all four wheels are altered in this way, even if the flat tires reached their inoperable state at highway speeds, loss of control of the vehicle is unlikely.

p.s. Isn't it also so very curious that certain ceramic compounds seem to almost melt through automobile glass, and that same stuff is what spark plugs are made of? I wonder why urban bike messengers carry them en route. Hunh.

BBs or tiny bits of gravel also work.

Yeah, I hear it looks like a Flintstones car when no one keeps pedaling/running. 😂

So is attempting to search a house without a warrant

That's that funny thing about laws and selective enforcement

[–] Kbobabob 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

There are several exemptions to the prohibitions against carrying an unloaded handgun in public under California Penal Code Section 26350 PC. Any person who has a been granted a concealed carry permit (“CCW”) under California Penal Code Section 26150 PC or California Penal Code Section 26155 PC would be allowed to openly carry their firearm while in a public, non-prohibited place.

While I can't find the specific ordinance at the moment, I'm about 95% positive that LA County has a law on the books prohibiting open carry, even unloaded (including replicas), even with a CCW. There are exemptions for law enforcement and while filming a permitted movie/tv show. Typically, local ordinance will supercede state law in situations like this here in CA.

That all said, I wouldn't be trying my luck against the LAPD/LASD lol.

They already shot someone's dog just because you mentioned them.

That's not stopping a whole lotta people

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Concealed sure, but I don't think I've ever seen someone open carry in LA.

Wasn't that from the Rodney King riots in 1992?
