I am not directly involved in the new community, but I'm happy to share it for those looking for a blahaj based alternative.

I'd really like to see the mod team removed since they unilaterally took over the community

Agreed. It's what would be best for us. Not moving to another community with a horrendous name, but staying here while they are removed and move on to lemmy.world.
