I just checked the community on Mlem then I found the posts weren’t showing and the community wasn’t appearing in the default Lemmy UI search.

Edit: False alarm the community was set to NSFW.

Edit 2: Donald Trump seemed to have won a trifecta. This is very disappointing news for Ukraine. Please people of the free world support Ukraine more to fill the void America will leave.

I think it might just be your NSFW filter. Not sure if it was always marked as an NSFW community but it is currently.

NSFW Off - doesn't appear in the community list

NSFW On - shows as the top community when searching for Ukraine.

I'd have to go make an account on sopuli.xyz and flip off the NSFW filter to test it, but I bet that's it, as it looks like it wasn't flagged as NSFW on the last archive.org snapshot from October 7:
