Regarding spoilers; Please put "(Spoilers)" in the title of your post if you anticipate spoilers, as we do not currently have a spoiler tag available. If your post contains an image that could be considered a spoiler, please mark the thread as NSFW so the image gets blurred. As far as how long to wait until the post is no longer a spoiler, please just use your best judgement. Everyone has a different idea on this, so we don't want to make any hard limits.
Please use spoiler tags whenever commenting a spoiler in a non-spoiler thread. Most of the Lemmy clients don't support this but we want to get into the habit as clients will be supporting in the future.

Lol man, some people here can't take a joke.
Kinda sad really, the trans acquaintance I hang out with thought it was funny. Looks like too many people taking themselves too seriously.
Yeah definitely. The mods here are really hyper sensitive about it too. They actually deleted my other comment and said I was defending transphobic commentary. I disagree but w/e. Little bit of 'power' and it all goes to their heads with no discussion.
Seems, for the most part, only the most sensitive of bitchy redditors are trying to make Lemmy their new home.
I'm inclined to agree. I've had i think 3 mostly innocuous comments now removed here. I think I had that many removed over the course of many years at reddit. Way more sensitive and suppressive here.
Or maybe, just hear me out, they didn't like the joke. Imagine that for a second. A joke was made and everyone gave their opinion on the joke.
