Samsung pulled that qr crap on my phone when it was dying and i wanted to transfer the system from it to a newer model. Kept giving me guff about needing wifi - which i dont have- to complete the task. Finally gave up and used a usb to usb connection to do the move. Took about half a day to get past the wifi dance and copy over everything to the newer model
