Chicagoan here - he's not wrong. The cops here are lazy, corrupt, and their union is way too powerful. I'm pro union, but not when one turns into a shadow government that sucks up all the tax revenue to pay their exorbitantly high pensions.
It's not just Chicago police, I am sorry to report.
